Whimper. How am I ever going to get work done with all that to read, now? Such great essays...

In a similar vein:

If you're planning on using horses in your writing, you should read this (http://fantasy.fictionfactor.com/articles/horses.html). And if you're using swords & armor, this essay is your friend (http://fmwriters.com/Visionback/Issue19/advonlyfant.htm).

Here's a guide to sloppy fantasy writing techniques (http://www.ansible.co.uk/Ansible/plotdev.html). Please don't take it as a how-to. And, while it's technically a sci-fi resource, the Turkey City Lexicon (http://www.sfwa.org/writing/turkeycity.html) is essential reading.

And I'm seriously contemplating staying the heck away from fantasy writing after all of this! :/

No, seriously I couldn't... my other writings are even worse!
