It came from the '80s

Remember the '80s?

We return now to those thrilling days of yesteryear, when Saturdays consisted of nothing but watching cartoons and eating sugary cereal of indeterminate flavor.
  • The Super Mario Bros. Super Show intro. You'll be hooked on the brothers!
  • Devo - Girl U Want. Devo still rocks to this very day.
  • Ad for the Game Genie. Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan were not available to make this ad, so Galoob got the next best thing: a couple of wannabes they found wandering in a mall in Torrance.
  • The Nintendo Cereal System. If you squint really hard and use a lot of imagination, the little pieces of technicolor kibble almost look kind of like Nintendo sprites! I'd still like to know why the "Link" piece was purple.

Because Link is obviously gay?

No, no. He had the blue ring on.

Vorn

Remember Alex Kidd for Sega Master System and Later Sega Genesis? I could play that game for hours...

Man I wanted a Genesis but it just didn't happen -_-;;

It sound familiar, gargh another piece of 80s that I missed. Hopefully it will be available on the Revolution.

I, on the other hand, always wanted a Nintendo but had a Sega...needless to say, I was odd man out when it came to talking about video games at school.

We are like different, yet almost the same. In that I was the only one with a Nintendo rather then Sega...

"Goodbye..."

Woah...like...Bizarro schools...

Dear god . . . I used to watch The Super Mario Brothers Super show religiously. What was in that water they were giving us?

None can resist the power of Captain Lou.

OH YE GODS, THE MEMORIES! *shudder*

Though I must admit to watching the mario brothers show, I was too young to have a mullet (for this I am thankfull for). I'm one of those crazy folk who grew up watching The Simpsons (I can't remember it not being on the telly :P)

I also miss my NES liek whoa. My mum threw it out last year :(. Though I didn't want to play it, I wanted to turn it into a computer! hehehe.

Also: Devo does indeed rawk (whip it, baby!). As does Ween. :P
System of a Down does Legend of Zelda! (http://www.error691.com/thalass/System_Of_A_Down_-_Legend_Of_Zelda.mp3)

That mp3 is mislabeled. That's not System of a Down, it's The Rabbit Joint.
